Production Error?
Back in episode 3×02, we saw a scene with Miles in LA where the pictures on the wall seemed to change before and after he went upstairs to “ghostbust” (link). In “The Lie”, we something similar. The setting before and after Hurley gets pulled over by Ana Lucia seems to change drastically. Check it out (the first three are before and the last one is after):
The truck looks the same (only with a different license plate and the Chevy logo removed), but everything else looks different. Just a production goof? One of Hurley’s “hallucinations?” It seems like they made a point of focusing on the truck at the end of the scene. I wasn’t sure if it was just to point out that there was no police car there or if there was something more to it.
